Associate Web Developer

  • Always upholding and demonstrating our PMW Core Values.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and frameworks such Bootstrap, with a basic proficiency in JS.
  • Proficient in creating cross-browser compatible and mobile-responsive Smartsites.
  • Understanding technical SEO and how to develop sites that will perform well on search engines, including but not limited to site speed, using appropriate title tags, utilizing alt text appropriately, incorporating internal links where appropriate, using bulleted lists where appropriate, and using testing methods to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest coding practices including newest frameworks and implementing items that will help with site speed.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver high-quality websites on time.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and providing exceptional customer service, adept at clearly conveying information and guiding clients through the development and review process promptly.
  • Prompt communication abilities, ensuring timely responses and acknowledgments to clients within the same business day, if within operating hours. Similarly, promptly replying to fellow team members within a few hours during business operating hours.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

QA Tester

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Functional Testing: Verify all website functionalities work as intended (links, forms, buttons, navigation, etc.). Ensure that all interactive elements respond correctly to user inputs (testing forms).
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Test the website on multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.) to ensure compatibility. Identify and report any browser-specific issues.
  • Responsive Testing: Ensure the website is fully responsive across different devices (desktops, tablets, smartphones). Test for various screen resolutions and orientations.
  • Performance Testing: Assess website speed. Identify and report any slow-loading elements or performance bottlenecks.
  • Usability Testing: Evaluate the user interface and user experience for ease of use. Provide feedback on navigation, design consistency (such as element spacing), and overall user-friendliness.
  • Accessibility Testing: Ensure the website complies with ADA standards using online tools such as Wave and accessiBe.
  • Content Verification: Verify that all content is correctly displayed according to the content worksheet (text, images, videos, etc.).
  • Integration & Product Testing: Ensure that third-party integrations and products (AMP, Grade.us, LiveChat, etc..) function correctly. Verify the correct users have been added to the platform post-launch.
  • Bug Reporting and Tracking: Document and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies found during testing. Use bug tracking tools to log and manage reported issues.
  • Ensure technical SEO practices are being used such as no duplicate title or meta tags, ensuring alt tags are being used appropriately and targeting proper key words, proper keywords used in images.
  • Keeping a points system for developers to ensure work is being done with minimal errors.
