Steps to Set up Reputation.com Account:

  1. Make your way into the PMW Tenant if you are setting up a company that is not a multilocation setup.
  2. Click add a location and proceed with entering in all the necessary info.
  3. Once that is saved, you should already be within that location. Click "Pages" in the menu at the top and then click "Autofind URLs" so the review sites can be populated. If for some reason Google and/or Facebook does not populate, you will need to manually add those. Reputation.com says that sometimes the reviews can take up to 48 hours to fully populate, but it is a case by case basis.
  4. Next, find "Logos" in that same menu at the top and upload their logo.
  5. Add the widget to their website using the lazy load code in the Site Speed section of the Resources - add code to their Home Page, PM page, Testimonials Page
  6. Add customer as a user on the account.
  7. Impersonate them as a user by going to Users in the side menu and selecting the person icon. Make sure their dashboard is set. If it isn't. Go to Dashboard --> Click the white side menu arrow to reveal additional Dashboard settings --> Click "Shared with Me" dropdown --> Select PMW Client Dashboard --> Select the 3 elipses on the right-hand side of the page --> From the drop down select "Set as Default"
  8. Grab their Survey link either while impersonating them or impersonating the System Admin and create their email signature on their site. Create a page called signature --> copy email signature code from either the email signature spreadsheet or by copy and pasting the code from the resources. Update the colors to reflect their brand colors and swap out the survey link
  9. Make sure to send them the link to their email signature as well as the link to their survey so they can utilize them!
  10. Once the review sites are done pulling in and populating, we can create the widget. Click "Widgets" in the side menu --> Add Widget + --> Select "Reputation Reviews" from the dropdown --> Please see the following photo on how to set up the widget. Make sure 4 or more stars is selected on the horizontal slider!! If you create the widget before the reviews have been pulled in, they will not populate on the widget. Once the widget is created, add it to the customer's site (home page, PM page, testimonial's page). Don't forget to include the JS for lazy loading it on the page for a faster load speed.

Email Signature Widget


Please note: If they are using Apple Mail, they will need to make sure to uncheck the box that says "Always match my default message font". If they don't uncheck that box, it will remove all CSS/formatting, links, and images.

Also, when pasted in as an Apple Mail signature, the images won't show up in the preview but they will show on the actual email.


How to add Signature to Apple Mail on Mobile
After pasting the signature into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature, the original formatting will be removed and it will appear slightly altered – iOS automatically adds its own coding to the HTML source of the email signature. All you have to do is shake your iPhone to trigger the Undo Change Attributes context menu and select Undo.
